Cute and cozy cafe/bookstore hybrid at the top of a giant hill (don't attempt in the heat) the lady that works there is super friendly, they generally leave you alone to explore the massive walls of cheap books piled up
A bit of a mess, but quaint like your grandma’s attic. I guess it could be fun to fish around for something surprising, but heaven help you if you have something specific you’re looking for.
When I arrived, it was crowded by high school students taking pictures of the bookstore, they were probably doing a review on it since they had their teacher with them. Personally, I love reading and this place was covered in books ceiling to down, left and right, plus they have a cafe, and I love coffee. You can find books of different genres, english and chinese. I spent about 2 hours, reading a book and drink my cappuccino. I also bought a book that was only $50 and in good condition. Overall, I no diubt would be visiting this bookstore again.
A fantastic place for book lovers!
Great bookshop, friendly service.
Friendly staff and charming cafe. Perfect for a gloomy HK day!
Interesting little book store.
A special used-book store with the provision of a cafe. It's quite hard to find books inside and not to expect too much when there are already people sitting there reading since the shop is small. You can't search for bookes with them obstructing your movement. A variety of books but the distribution is unbalanced. Most of them are business textbooks and travel guides. But there are also options for books in other languages which is uncommon.
a secret gem where you can enjoy reading and a cuppa (but don't expect full service as a café). here you can find a wide range of second-hand books including those written by local independent writers.
Shop is good and vintage, atmosphere is good. But the staff is too green. Feeling bad to talk with
The employee working was so friendly and the books choices are extremely tempting. I didn't have time to stop for a drink but will do next for sure!!
