I like Bishop Lei. Sure its a little old and tired in parts and the lifts are slow. But the rooms are nice and quiet. Very hard to find food nearby so use delivery service. I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so

The phone service and free shuttle will help you save some hustle and bucks. Tiny for the price but the location is just near to the center and also the peak

Review for the Bishop Lei International House hotel, great location near the escalator, free zoological park, Peak tram, Lei Fung area, or a free scheduled shuttle to Central. Room with a view was worth it, smell was a little musty, shower small, but overall worth the cost.

Bishop Lei has treated us well for 3 days. Our room is really small but we had an amazing view! It's steps away from Lan Kwai Fong too which was pretty awesome. Front desk peeps have always been nice. They have a pool and a reading room. There's buffets from breakfast to dinner but we have not tried them since there's a lot of restaurants outside.

Very good value for longer stays - under A$100 per night if you stay 30 days or more.
Central/Soho/LKF are a 10 minute walk away, and the hotel runs a few shuttle every hour to the MTR stations if you're feeling lazy.

Room is smal and not very clean but location is very-very good (you may go by well-known mid-level escalator to the Center MTR in 10 minutes and there is laundry nearby and lots of restaurantes and bars) and excelent view from swimming pool area 😉

Stayed here many times, including for a few extended (around 3 week) stays. the small rooms are great if you want value (can be below $100US - book on their website), and the larger rooms are great if you need a bit more room and want a living room for an extended stay.
The convenience is on par w hotels 2x to 3x the price that are less than 100 meters / yards away (LKF), its clean, service is good, there is a cafe in the hotel, and even a small pool.
Only downside? probably that they don't have a cargo elevator, so at times you might have to wait for a lift that's going floor by floor w laundry, etc.
its pretty no frills, but if you are looking for "value" in HK, this is it.response / report this review
