  McKenzie is one of the largest mining community in Guyana. At one point is was the largest foreign exchange earner for the country and has seen better days. McKenzie is still a great place to visit and enjoy a slower pace from the daily hustle and bustle of city life. The people are friendly and there are a few places to visit such as the blue lake in one mile. So if you ever make the trip be sure to pay a visit to McKenzie

  Well my area is quite beautiful,n peaceful aka one, of the most quite area,on the McKenzie shore,I jus love it over here!
