  Myofascial pain syndrome is a pain condition that affects your muscles and fascia. “Myo” means muscle and “fascial” means fascia. Your fascia is the thin, white connective tissue that is wrapped around every muscle in the body.

  Friends, we are supporting the Santa Rosa Family and Friends group. They are trying to make care packages for 500 families in Region 1. They are asking for rice, flour, oil, salt, dried or canned ...beans, milk and cleaning supplies.

  We are offering to be a drop off point for your donations. You can also contact them directly through Facebook.

  Every donation, no matter the size, counts. Yesterday they were able to send the first 150 donations in by boat.

  Talk to you families. Talk to your friends. Talk to your co-workers. Talk to your neighbours. Share this as much as possible.

  A need for a few needs to be responded to by all.

  We had a patient in today who was suffering from Bell's Palsy.

  Medical experts believe that this condition is caused when stress weakens the immune system and damages the VII cranial nerve (the facial nerve) which in turn causes facial paralysis. This condition causes one side of your face to droop or become stiff. A Bell's Palsy patient will have trouble smiling or closing their eye on the affected side. After one session of dry needling, he was able to close his eye.

  Too much? Or just enough? 🤣😂🤣 Don't worry, we don't usually use this many cups for a session.

  The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system, making it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure.   Hi guys, so we are changing up the office hours again, just by a little. This is to facilitate our therapists in furthering their education, specifically in the area of counselling. We have been accepted into a 6 week course that will help us to work with survivors of gender based violence, in the areas of sexual offences, domestic violence and intimate partner violence.
