  Terrible experience. Worst thing was that those who came long after they went first because they paid bribe. I had to spent 8 hours waiting in car with little baby on hottest day. 1/4 of gas was burnt because of AC all day. You must have cash to pay, either in Guyanese dollars or US dollars. 4200GYD per person and 7500GYD per car was ferry fair. It's return fair, so it's not bad.

  It's quite efficient. but i did had a problem when the ferry broke down and I had to spend another night in Suriname.
