This is not a five star hotel. It is average. Nice location, decent rooms. Very poor construction. Pool is nice.
Very poor front desk customer service. Manger was rude and unprofessional. Not very helpful. Does not share the WiFi password, she needs to enter it into our phones. Did not want us to use the phone to make a local call. No daily house keeping, we had to get fresh towels by going to the laundry room ourselves. When questioned, the manager, Christine informed us that we had to request room services at check in and it was the hotel's policy that they informed guest of this policy. She checked us in but neglected to inform us of the housekeeping policy. Food at the restaurant was terrible, except for the fried fish. Do not expect any level of customer service at the front desk.

    Very poor customer service
    Very poor internet service

    Very unprofessional staff

    Very ignorant staff

Both tried to defend and argue while otgers were solidly listening.

We came as tourists to the hotel only to be disappointed.

We are leaving fully disappointed and will NEVER come back to this hotel.

    Bad review deservingly done.

1/5 was too high to begin witith.

    Bad WiFi.
Too much argument to defending making the hotel and it's owner SUGRIM look bad.

It's sad that as tourists, who could compare other services with other hotels, we know what is best for business.

The quality is below our expectations for certain.

SUGRIM, Mr. Please correct this issue before it becomes an epidemic.

Note that we stayed at lower price hotels with higher prized service.

Wished your hotel weew much better. Money is not everything Mr. SUGRIM.

Our next stay is not at this hotel for sure

    Good luck.

For an international hotel, there were no drinks available but were listed on menu.
    Service was slow and cold

Not too bad for Guyana standard, lil expensive
Look like the maids is being over work, 7 days a week? Hope not?

I was told the maids is working 7 days a week from 7 to 5 at your hotel, if that is true, that's against the law, and if u guys breaking the Labour law, the authority should close the hotel down n fine u.

Please, all guest should investigate this to make sure its not so before book this hotel
Slavery should not return to Guyana

Just local with an international flavor. Kool place for a family get together , movie theater with a classy sound track. And when it's too hot you can enjoy a drink and a dip in da pool.

I'm not sure why such an average place is so expensive. I'd have given more stars if the price matched the level of service or rooms. You can definitely find way better hotels at this price or decent ones at a cheaper price.

The quality of the room is poorly constructed. The floor tile grout is dirty. The wall tile grout is not finished properly and is streaking over the tiles. Grout in the shower tiles are missing. Rain shower head exploded resulting in waterfall shower. There is a hole in the wall of the shower. The grout around the shower doors are dirty and looks like mold. There is a mismatch of furniture color in the room. Limited hangers and two of 3 are broken. TV in the room looks like a small computer monitor. It does not work and is located close to ceiling so one has to raise their head to look at the TV. Should be at eye level. The bathroom sink faucet is not firmly set and can move in a circular motion.

Checking in is not very formal, one is not given a piece of paper with the room number as typical hotels do. The elevators are not used due to power issues. One has to walk up the stairs. If power outage, there is backup generator, however, if asleep the AC does not come back on. One has to get up, remove card in wall, wait 10 seconds for red light to come back on and then reinsert the card back. Good luck if you can go back to sleep.

Pool pump is not active. Water is dirty and has a lot of debris. Construction of pool is very small tiles rather than plaster. Grout looks very nasty.

Owners are not hoteliers and have clearly squeezed workers and used poor quality materials. Hotel is about 6 months old, I shudder to think what it might look like in 2 years.

Overall, at about $100 USD per night for the lowest end of room, highly overpriced.
