  Our flight to Kaieteur for cancelled due to bad weather. This was only announced after we had already waited about 4 hours. The staff was definitely not prepared for this cancellation as it took them quite some time (almost 2 hours) to make refunds ect. The also had no US currency so those who paid in USD would've definitely made a loss based on their conversion rate. We ended up settling for an open ticket which we could use at a later time. In the end we ended up wasting an entire day just sitting in the airport.
