0 star! These guys are crooks!!! Don't buy anything from them!!! They put a lot of pressure, lie +++, take advantage of the fact that you just arrived from a loooong travel and jump into your bus This company must close! There are (by far!) other honest agencies around and with better prices.

Enrique is a crook in every sense of the word. He comes off as a nice guy, very willing to help, cool with everyone, but then robs you. We were told by him to pay for a flight we knew we were taking early, because it will fill up fast. He never even made the reservation, and kept our money. I confronted him on the phone, he then threatened me. His business should be shut down. Do not support him.

    Zero stars!
Do not book anything there!!! Aggressive and unrelaible manager!!!

We booked a tour to Tikal with this agency. We are already used to delayed shuttles in Central America - that is absolutly fine since we have time while travelling. But this agency topped everything:
We wanted to take the shuttle really early to see the ruins before all the tourist crowds. We were sitting on the street for 1,5 hours and everytime we asked how long it will take until the arrival they said it will be there in 10 minutes. If they at least would have been honest about the time we could have gone back to the hostel or for breakfast, but this way we were sitting there for 1,5 hours at night on the street. After we came back from Tikal we went to the agency to complain and get a little money back. The guy we bought the ticket for the shuttle from got mad and said they couldn't do anything about it and we should come back to talk to the manager. So we went back to talk to the manager: He got angry at his employee first, because of the price we payed for the shuttle and than started to yell at us on the street and git really aggressive. He was swearing at us in spanish and told us we shouldn't travel Guatemala if we are not willing to pay. When we told him that he is really rude and aggressive and we will give him a bad review he got even more aggressive and started to film us with his phone. Since we refused to talk to him any longer aftee that and left to the hostel he followed us there still filming us and yelling at us. He just stopped when we went into our room! After that he stayed in the hostel for a while still screaming around. We were really scared to go out after that, since the hostel we stayed in (Aurora) is cooperating with this agency.

    DO NOT BOOK THERE!

this is the worst scam ever. The man who works here is an awful person and will rip you off as much as possible. He is a manipulative bastard and I can't recommend enough not going there.

To the people like me that'll had not been on trip advisor and also got verbally abused and scammed, don't worry, we put his underwear in his toilet. hope he goes out of business at some point! Good luck!

Terrible experience. The men working here are hustlers, they are rude and they take advantage of tired travelers after getting off an over night bus. They were supposed to take us travelers to our hostels but instead took us to there shop to sell us over priced tours to tikal on the bases that we wouldnt be able to get a tour if we didnt book it there and then with them. They told many lies to sell. I didnt fall for it but unfortunately at least 8 people bought their tour from them. When i said id like to be taken to my hostel the man ripped up the ticket he had wrote me and threw it on the street. I then collected my bag from the top of the van and walked to my hostel. Which was much nicer anyways. Flores is a beautiful town to walk around.

Zero stars! They are liars, so don't buy anything from them! We went from Palenque, Mexico to Flores, Guatamala and at the end they jumpend in our van to Flores. We already booked our trip to Tikal with Bamba (but we didn't had the conformation yet, so didn't know what was included) and they told that they worked with them and that they were able to switch our trip to an earlier time (3:00 to see the sunrise). We only had to pay for the guide and they should confirm it to Bamba. When we spoke to Bamba, we found out that they were not working with them and that the guide was included in the Bamba tour.so we actually booked two tours and of course they didn't contact Bamba.
When we visited the office of the Gran Jaguar the manager was there and was not so kind as the day before anymore and was again laying and we didn't get anything back. He walked away
So please be aware of these guys and don't booked something with them!!

Worst travel agency ever. Don't ever book something with them.

They arranged us a flight from Flores to Guatemala City, including transport to the airport and transport to Antigua.

Unfortunately we were not picked up at our hotel in the morning. To catch the already paid flight we arranged a taxi by ourself.

We waited over 90min for our pickup at the airport in Guatemala City. Still nobody to pick us up. arranged the transportation by ourself again.

Zero stars! Unfortunately if you're reading this you've probably already been overcharged or duped.. because one of these crooks probably hopped on your bus from Lanquín or Antigua, and, seeming official, pressured you into buying some overpriced tour or shuttle. These guys are professional swindlers, even lying and pretending to be someone else if you happen to know the name of an actually good tour guide. They'll shift tours around so you can't go and then make it near impossible to get some money back. Take a look at TripAdvisor and you'll see the list goes on and on. They're only still in business by paying off everyone in town- the corruption is hard to avoid, but stay away from these guys at all costs!

Run away from this company as if a real Jaguar is chasing you! They are thieves and liars.
I arrived in Flores to see Tikal and was immediately jumped on by Enrique after leaving the overnight bus. We got into a conversation about Semuc Champey, but with only 2 days left I was unsure I could make it and get back to the airport. Enrique convinced me to get the shuttle the next morning at 6.30. I would arrive in Semuc Champey by 3pm at the latest giving me the afternoon to see the sights and then get the early shuttle back to the airport the next morning. It was a bit pricey but was told it was a lovely hotel (overlooking a waterfall) and with the convenience I agreed to the $140 price tag. I gave him $200, and was told by him that he had no change and would return the $60 in the morning as I boarded the bus. I'm a trusting person by nature.
Waited outside my hotel at 6.15am.excited.no shuttle. Finally at about 7.30 a taxi turns up to take me to the shuttle. But Enrique is not there with my change and no-one knows anything about it. I quickly call him and he says 'oops I forgot, get on the shuttle and I will arrange for the hotel to give me the change'. We need to go.time is of the essence, so I jump on the shuttle. The driver, after taking two personal stops, finally dumps me on the side of the road in Lanquin, at 7pm at night. It takes another hour of having my phone calls, asking where is the hotel, how do I get there, and being hung up on repeatedly by Enrique, before I pay MORE money to get to the hotel. And when I get there it is not a hotel. It is a hostel. There is no waterfall. My room was basically a wooden box with holes all over the wall and a bed with the most uncomfortable sheets and thin blanket. And of course the hotel owner knows NOTHING about $60.
Having got this far I only have two options, leave again at 4.30 am on a shuttle to the airport.or spend the morning at Semuc Champey and pay a private driver to take me to the airport. I choose the later. I would have been so disappointed to not see Semuc. So another $200+ spent to get myself back to the airport. All in all the 2 hours swim in Semuc cost me near on $450!!!! The most expensive swim of my life!!
If you ever get a chance to go to Semuc Champey it is amazing, and well worth the horrendous roads to get there. BUT stay clear of Enrique and Servicios Turisticos El Gran Jaguar. They are simply THIEVES.

And do not be fooled by the 2 5 star ratings on here. One from an Enrique (!!) and the other no doubt from his sidekick. Google also needs to start allowing 0 star rating, cause I am vomiting in my own mouth at having to give them 1 star!!

    These guys are crooks.

Firstly, they have a habit of following the Guatemala City to Santa Elena bus as it arrives into Santa Elena and pretending to be a free shuttle service into Flores, which goes straight to their office. (That should have been alarm bells ringing for us).

First trip we booked with them was a shuttle from Flores to Tikal. After being picked up along with a bus load of other tourists, we were dropped off at a petrol station in the middle of nowhere and told the bus we were on was for Tikal sunset tours only (not those staying at the Hotels near the site as we were). We were told we'd be picked up by another bus. After £30 worth of angry phone calls (which i believe is to San Juan travel who actually operate the tours, these crooks claim to sell places on) and an hour on a petrol station forecourt in 40° heat we eventually got picked up.

The second booking was from El Remate to San Ignacio in Belize. We knew we'd been screwed again when we were put on a local bus and not a tourist shuttle for the first leg to the border (have no issues with getting a local bus, but we paid a premium for a proper shuttle). Unsurprisingly there was no bus waiting over the border in Belize to take us on to San Ignacio. Screwed again.

Strongly recommend you avoid at all costs

Buying a package from this place is like buying a trip and having someone spit in your face for 10 hours straight. What ever you do, don't book through this agency. Suffice to say, I was lied to, cheated, treated badly, left in Tikal, and when I went to the agency the next day to complain and ask for my money back. I was made to wait hours (ultimately I waited from 8 in the morning to 8 pm when it was completely resolved), told to come back, then told to come back again, and when I came back the last time there was a new person who alternately told me he had no clue of the situation, couldn't have my money, that I needed to wait some more, and that he couldn't help me because he couldn't understand my spanish. I imagine this was a stalling tatic until I had to leave to take my bus back to Guatemala city. I went to get the police, and when they arrived, there were other people who had been cheated there and they complained to the police as well. The agency agreed to give me my money back. But when the police took me to the head agency to get my money back, I was again yelled at, and told not to come to Guatemala if I didn't like my experience. When I insisted on being given my money back, they grudging (surrounded by the state police) gave my money back while disparaging me to other people in the office. Once the police dropped me off at my hotel (which happened to be next to this agency) the same guy from the agency came up to me and started to harass me outside of my hotel. I ignored him and walked to the door while he continued to follow me. DO NOT GO HERE! The first driver name was Carlos C. and the one who followed me a yelled bad things at me was name Enrique.

The only positive about this whole experience was a kind Guatemalan family who helped me when I was stuck in Tikal and the Police who drove me everywhere, took my side, apologized constantly for how I was being treated, and even offered to take me to the bus station as my bus was leaving that night. I'm completely positive that I wouldn't had gotten my money back if they weren't there supporting me. They also told me that they were opening an investigation into the agency basked on what I told them as well as the other tourist who were complaining.
