Interesting and let you experience the wild life of the area. Several types of beautiful birds, few cats including impressive puma and Jaguar. We arrived by boat as part of a 2 hour trip around the lake Peten.

If you need a little get away just to breathe or reconnect with yourself I'd say you've found the place. For me it wasn't just a zoo, the ambiance made it different, the boat ride to the zoo was breath taking and then just walking about the zoo was just relaxing!!! You've got to experience it yourself!

Petencito Zoo is an awsome place to visit if you are visiting Peten Guatimala. They have alot of different kinds of animals and it is a beautiful place to walk around. If you decide to visit make sure to see the spyder monkeys they are very cute and will even shake your hand. You can take a boat from Flores to the zoo or drive around onto the peninsula Tayazal. If you are ever in Peten be sure to visit.

Muy buen zoológico no es algo del otro mundo pero es muy divertido en grande y tiene un ambiente muy agradable. Los niños se divierten. Soy Dominicano y lo recomiendo

Amplio lugar con diferentes ambientes que brindar. En lo personal lo que mas me gustó fue el puente colgante y lo que menos me gustó es que hayan animales en cautiverio.

Great place to visit for a few hours as part of a boat trip from flores. Ask your boatman to guide you (so find one that speaks your language). Parrots and other birds, jaguar, leopard, spider monkeys, crockodile and much more. Some slippery paths if wet. Great views. Entrance about $10 US.
