Nice small museum for Maya archaeology featuring finds from the adjacent Kaminalyuju site. This site was a massive Maya center in highland Guatemala. Unfortunately much of the Kaminalyuju site is under modern Guatemala City. Lots of the stones from the prehistoric buildings were scavenged and reused for the construction of Guatemala City.

There is very little of the small site excavated but it is a living Maya worship location. Ceremonies are held often during every day.
