Great cafe right at the center of Antigua. We went there for breakfast and it was wonderful. Food is good and very fresh, nice service. The place itself is nicely decorated. They have some gluten free options.
Very nice. Great and fast service, even for big groups. A nice place to enjoy live music and have some nice food.
I had a very good cafe latte, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and tropical fruit salad here and sat talking with a new friend for a while. Good service, reasonable prices. Would go again.
My mom, my 20 year old daughter and I are traveling together in Guatemala. We've eaten at Rainbow Cafe a few times. We've liked everything we've had there. They were accommodating about some substitutions we asked for. The prices are reasonable. The space is fun.
If you get dessert, we loved both the brownie and the banoffee pie.
Always a comfortable and yummy breakfast, lunch or coffee break (& probably dinner). Laid back yet attentive service, and the weekly talks are a great intro to Guatemala and various aspects of the culture and history. And the setting and the murals can't be beat. I love Rainbow Café!
Excellent cafe with many vegetarian/vegan options, and they take credit card. A nice hangout spot at night as well.
Wifi doesn't work. I just asked do you have a coffee. Then they just served coffee. They didn't even give me a menu.. I wanted different one.
Food is great with large portions. Ambiance is very cute and homey. I ordered the quesadilla and got 2 large quesadillas. Would highly recommend the fajitas and quesadillas!
Nice cosy environment. English speaking receptionist
Great place, very good food and nice atmosphere
Portions weren't huge, but food was tasty. They had live music that night which I enjoyed. Would go again.
Stayed in Antigua for 4 nights and ate here 2 of the nights. Darling place! Had the tomato/tarragon soup both times. Delicious.
It's a nice place to hang out, kinda expensive for what it is though. Saying that food portions are generous, however quality a little hit and missmy eggs were pretty uncooked, slime whites! Veggie nachos are good.
The food is delicious and the place is charming. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great!
Best breakfast in Antigua. Eggs Florentino were to die for. On a baguette, perfectly poached eggs and divine Florentino Sauce.
Fantastic, well priced, well situated, spot to eat in antigua. We especially enjoyed the lunch soup and sandwich special! Came back a few times!
Nice patio. Nice breakfast. Good times
Food was a bit boring. Super earthy hippie rainbows painted on the walls vibe. It's unfortunate how many "health food" cafes in Guatemala are heavy on the bread. It seems most restaurants in town aren't passionate enough about food to try creative, healthy alternatives, like quinoa sushi rolls or colorful smoothie bowls. Maybe someday!
I ate here every day whilst in Antigua. The food is excellent, especially the early bird special breakfast. The staff are lovely.
The vibe was very cool and the food was tasty but also very cheap! I had a crepe w/avocado and chicken with a smoothie and it was great!
Great atmosphere and good quality food. I love that they are also a bookstore, so thereby promoting some level of education in the community.
Popular amongst travelers. Pretty good breakfast food. Ran into many a cute doggo here.
Good food and nice atmosphere visited for dinner and breakfast both which were delicious. Live music and events some nights and a small shop at the front.
I have been to Rainbow cafe a few times and struggle to force myself to explore other options because I enjoy it so much. I crave Eggs Benedict in Guatemala and this is one place I know will be good. I love the outdoor patio feel even though of its location. The last time I visited was solo on the morning of my birthday waiting for my friends to arrive, was treated to 'Something Special' which started the day perfected and had a very memorial time!
