Not much to do, as church is closed most of the time. Has great views of Antigua and the volcanoes. Come in on November for the NÃspero (loquat) festival.

Una hermosa iglesia colonial con una vista maravillosa hacÃa los volcanes , Fuego,Acatenango y Agua, además hay frente al parque una ventana de chocolate artesanal de diferentes sabores que también se puede disfrutar de una taza de ese rico chocolate por sólo Q 5.00

San Juan del Obispo is for most travelers a never found village to visit. Sadly only a short 20 minute drive from Antigua or a walk you are missing out on history and the best views from the mountains looking down on Antigua.
Hop on a van in the Market in Antigua and you will find an interesting village. The Plaza features a stunning church with much of the history of the Bishops of Guatemala.response / report this review
