Colonial architecture with its own style. An incredible city within the capital of Guatemala. Every time i arrive there are new areas and places. It is defined by one word: Amazing!!!

My Uber driver said it's probably the best neighborhood in the city. I walked around for 30 minutes and there's a lot of upscale shopping, variety of restaurants from pubs, tapas to steakhouse and to go snacks like ice cream. Grounds are very clean and well maintained, plenty of security all around and I felt very safe walking around. 3 banks but only Banco Industrial will convert USD without an account, but still need a passport. Recommend lunch and enjoy the city views from some of the roof top restaurants like La Playa or lounge bar at the AC Hotel

I'm a professional YouTuber. I had made a video of walking around here a couple years ago, but I wanted to make better video here walking around this time. Security quickly told me to stop. I asked to talk to someone to get permission. I was guided to the information desk. I said I make tourist videos. She said I can't video. This is very sad because Cayala is indeed a very beautiful place to walk around and eat and shop. They should be more open minded to let people take some video. Nobody is going to record video here to plan terrorist activities or something.

This is definitely the nicest area you will find in the capital. It has a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. It also has a brand new Marriott hotel and is surrounded by high end residence living.

Went to Bulebar. They water down there drinks. Vodka and gin taste like water. Dj was good. There is no running water in there bathrooms. Cannot not flush toilets and cannot wash hands. So everyone who goes to the bathroom is touching everything and touching everyone. Nasty. The waiters were nice but abit pushy. They ask you to sit and then they just start doing bottle service stuff. Bringing ice bucket, candles, mixers and never even asked what we really wanted. Ridiculous.

Perfect place! There are lots of restaurants and cofee shops you can choose from. A bar, a movie theater, and also many shops in case you feel like shopping. It is truly amazing.

Great place even if you just want to go for a walk due to the outdoor style that it has. Stores, food ad movies if you are on a family walk or great bars to have some drinks and dance if you want a night with some friends.
