The ruins are covered in concrete, there is a small museum and market with tourist stuff. You can buy drinks, snacks and some street food just outside or visit the restaurant across the road. Its a nice place to walk and take some pictures. There are different prices listed if you are Guatemalan or a tourist!

It is a very beautiful and well-maintained touristic place. The little museum inside will take about half an hour to visit. The historic buildings are very few and foreigners pay a higher entrance fee than locals. If traveling with enough time, consider visiting Petén instead.

Very sad that the archeological site had been covered in a layer of concrete to give it a better appearance during the shooting of the movie Tarzan in the Jungle (1970).

Good place to visit and learn about the Mayan culture, archeology and history. Very close to town. The worst restoration job on mayan pyramids I've seen but if you look past that it's quite interesting.

I very much enjoy visiting archaeological sites, even small ones such as this, as they all have their own mysterious story. Unfortunately, this site's restorations are a bit off putting for me. Lots of cement use and the addition of staircases on some pyramids was a bit odd. The main problem I had with visiting this site was that I didn't feel very welcome, as a foreigner, as the entrance fee was ten times that of national. I'm used to there being a higher fee for foreigners, but ten times just makes me feel unwelcome.

Beautifull place, really calm and great to apprecieate the Mam culture. The temples are fully restored and has a really well created museum.

Good architecture with all constructions concentrated in a small nice place. However it is extensive for foreigners ans everything is covered of à bad-looking concrète.
