The best experience for young and old. Lots of exotic animals to see including the popular penguin exhibit. Entrance fee is around US$4. Beware of parking pirates right at the entrance of the zoo who will convince you to follow term and pay higher prices. Parking inside the zoo is Q30.

Impressive has all the standards of any zoo in the world. Clean bathrooms, well signposted park, and with many details that make the park one of the best I've ever known.

Well, I have to say, thath this is a great place to visit with the whole family or by your self.
Really, really nice. Very clean place and lots of animals to see. Bring a good camera for your photos. Also light cloths for the summer time in Guatemala.nice.response / report this review -

Sorry to see the animals in a cage but people are doing a great job feeding them and keeping them safe.

Highly recommended so far the best zoological park I have visited in Central America, is does not lack anything a zoo may have in the US, come early to take your time to visit and enjoy. Infrastructure is well kept, clean and the animals are well maintained. GOOD JOB GUATEMALA

Fantastic zoo and fun place to spend a day with the kids! I am impressed by the cleanliness, nice design, and evident good health of the animals. Good job Guatemala!!!

Beautiful zoo with tropical gardens and a lot of animals, if you had kids and have a long lay over in La Aurora Airport visit the zoo is aprox. 5 minutes by taxi, or 20 minutes walk. Better take taxi to not have to walk with luggage. The area has a Children Museum and Handicraft shops less than 5 minutes away.
