  Cozy historic hotel. Exudes charm and a wonderful and well earned patina of a hundred year hotel. Originally a home to the descendants of the current operators. Would have given it a 5 star but bathrooms need updating. If you don't mind this, Hotel Modelo is a great find.

  125 year old hotel with new kitchen and bar management. The new managers own two other popular restaurants so the menu of Modelo is full of very good items.

  Located in the center of Quetzaltenango. Nice old colonial building. Wide and clean bedrooms. Helpful staff.
