I highly recommend Golden Studio. I could make you cry with stories of all of the terrible haircuts I’ve had in around Antigua, until Melissa helped me brake that terrible cycle! She’s great, her salon is relaxed and chill it’s nice to explain what you want to a native English speaker with years of professional experience.

I am so happy I finally came here after 8 years of living in Guatemala and getting mediocre haircuts. Lauren and Melissa know what they are doing and they are both sweethearts. I just had a keratin treatment and cut with Lauren and I am so impressed. Thanks ladies!

I met Melissa when I was desperately searching for a fabulous stylist and makeup artist for my wedding which was hard to do (until I found her!). She is professional, beyond talented and a true natural at what she does. Her work was flawless on my wedding day and she made me look and feel like a million dollars. Every time I am back in Antigua, I excitedly book a session with her. Her pricing is very fair, her work is always perfect, and she's just an amazing person on top of it all. Highly recommend!

Golden Studio is by far the best hair salon in Antigua - I wouldn't get my hair done anywhere else! The owner, Melissa is a Canadian stylist and is always up to date on the modern trends and styles for cuts and color. I have been going to Golden Studio for over four years and I always love the way my hair looks when I leave.

Melissa is a true professional and I highly recommend her, especially for colors! It was a struggle to find someone in Antigua who can do blond highlights and make them look natural. And not only is she amazing in her work, she creates a comfortable atmosphere and is always fun to chat with too. Simply the best in Antigua!

I have long wavy hair and Melissa is a miracle worker. She uses hair friendly products with no abrasive chemicals, does an extraordinary job with color and listens, so I never end up with a cut I didn't want. Her prices are better than reasonable and she's such a pleasant person that time flies by. Now that I've been using her for three years, I am addicted to her. Also when I have a situation that calls for makeup, she's the person to see! She made me look like a movie star. Best stylist in Antigua.
