As the US sponsor of a 15-year old bilingual middle school student who has previously traveled to the US I was extremely disappointed to have his recent visa application be denied. He was enrolled in a summer camp in Pennsylvania. He was going to go for three weeks with a school pal during their mid-year break but this same embassy who has issued visas to any number of corrupt politicians denied his application and, of course, kept my $160. The boy was given a paper, however, inviting him to pay another $160 and apply again. Is the embassy nothing more than a fundraising organization?

I am American I came with my grandaughter to Guatemala they have every information under the sun to proof our citizens ship yet I have to wait for them to contact my daughter to proof I didn't kidnap my gran baby omg! Don't like these people don't help give me hard time

People at the embassy are very helpful but there is absolutely NO parking. There are a few public lots nearby but the closest is a full block. Best way is to turn right on 5A Calle off Avenida La Reforma then another right at 1A Avenida. You can drop off passengers at the first corner (7A Calle) and they will be about 50 meters from the embassy entrance.
