  No cab service and Lyft took 3 days to get here. To make matters worse it was a donkey.

  El Mirador is an amazing place in Peten, Guatemala. You have to trek (52 kilometers) inside the jungle for 2 days to get to the archeological site. You surely feel in touch with nature!!!

  Extraordinary site - but be forewarned that getting here is quite challenging! Be prepared for mud, slugging, mozzies, and ticks - and in the rainy season lots of rain! Be sure you've got solid water-proof boots and your constitution fully charged! You'll need it :-)
