Perfect spot to relax and visit the other small places. Breakfast is amazing! And staff is so friendly!

Perfect for a breakfast, the ladies cooked some typical Guatemalan dish and pancakes that came with homemade tortillas and some delicious cheese. I asked for the name of the cheese and they didn't know, they told me that somebody in the area makes it. The views are hard to beat, in front of the Indian nose

Great place to stay in Atitlan. Right on the lake, a great place to relax and be in harmony with the nature surrounding it. Also not far from San Juan, a walking distance and a short tuk tuk ride from San Pedro. Loved my stay!

Bonito lugar, buena vista, gente amable, las personas que trabajan en el hotel siempre están con una sonrisa dispuestos a ayudar, lo mejor es ir en lancha al hotel, la carretera no está en buenas condiciones, buena comida, muchas vegetación alrededor (plantas de todo tipo) y muchas aves, recomiendo el recorrido de aves y el recorrido cultural muy interesante.

I don't know where to start. This hotel was absolutely perfect. From the peaceful garden to the breathtaking views, this place offers a truly unique vacation. Pay to park your car and take a boat from a dock in Panajachel to the hotel's dock in San Juan. This hotel has some special people who make you feel like you never want to leave. If you want a to experience Guatemalan culture at it's best, Eco Hotel Uxlabil definitely delivers.

Me encantó la vista de las habitaciones, el servicio es excelente y que siempre están pendientes de los huéspedes. Para mí la mejor parte es que nos permitieron hospedarnos con nuestros dos perritos y al llegar los saludaron y les sirvieron agua, con eso se ganaron mi corazón y en cuanto pueda voy a volver a hospedarme ahí. 100 puntos!

Very nice eco-hotel with gorgeous sight to the lake and various spots to chill and rest beside it. Overall service was good. Nice trails to walk nearby. Rooms were clean and tidy. Wi-Fi service was really slow.

Eco Hotel San Juan La Laguna Uxlabil Atitlan, while San Juan La Laguna is one of the smaller villages around Lake Atitlan, in recent years it has been evolving into a sophisticated painting, weaving, and art haven.
With women’s weaving cooperatives, painting studios, handcrafted leather products, medicinal herb gardens, and a number of restaurants and coffee shops, San Juan La Laguna offers an array of cultural and educational activities and is a wonderful village to be immersed in the indigenous culture.
San Juan is located on the western side of Lake Atitlan, between San Pedro La Laguna and San Pablo La Laguna. San Juan La Laguna can easily be reached from Panajachel by boat. There are two piers in Pana in which the boats depart. The boat pier to San Juan can be found off the main street of Avenida Santander.
The Eco Hotel provides 14 comfortable rooms and 2 isolated bungalows all with en suite bathrooms. They have 4 rooms on the top level for bird lovers. It is an innovative space where each room is themed and inspired by a bird you can find in the Lake Atitlan area.
