Great way to end or trip to Guatemala. Four nights lazing around the pool, drinks, good food and a fantastic room with two king beds over looking the water. Staff spoke little English so my translator app worked over time!! However the staff who spoke English always helped!!

Perfectly adequate, and better, for Small Planet types. Nothing to complain about. You get what you pay for plus, but nothing 5 star. My go to for the past decade plus. The cat's meow with no frills.

This is an ideal place if you wish to relax, enjoy the sound of the waves, and the beauty of the black sand! Come here only if you want to do much of nothing! Breakfast is simple and sufficient. Lunch and dinner options are not very extensive and a bit on the pricey side.

A bit expensive for what you are getting but it's nice. Very good food and decent portions. 3 pools to choose from. The rooms are big. Offers ATV rentals, but expensive. Overall, recommended. Maybe the best option in Monterrico.

Loved the place, happy and friendly staff, location was stunning, clean and tidy. Our stay was late in August (2017) and missed the weekend and all local religious holidays (when it can get busy)

The place is beautiful. 3 pools there are huts and 4 rooms to a condo looking building. Only has one built they are building another. Stayed at the condo room. No electricity because the "town" was down for repair. Electricity cane back later (checked in around 10am came on at 12ish. Was fine until i woke up at 3am with no ac. By 430am went to see whats going on. Sae maintenence person and they didnt know the power was down in my building area everthing else was on. Town was good. Person couldnt fix it until the sun was out. So went to beach to cool off. Told reception didnt say anything but that it got fixed. My aunt is complaining to them too cause my niece was up half the night also. So hot in rooms. Other then that issue, its a nice resort. Dont know what will be the out come yet for the no power..
