Dr. Alan is the best! I was pleasantly surprised at how stunningly beautiful, modern and outstanding the office of Dr. Alan was. The services I had were second to none. Dr. Alan was able to put a post in for an implant, fill three teeth, and fix an unsightly chip on my front tooth in one sitting. Not only was the service impeccable but it was done in a timely fashion with very little pain. I reside in the US and I’m dually insured yet, the prices are astronomical for dental work even with insurance. I will going back to Dr. Alan in the near future for more work to again visit this beautiful country and continue with this affordable dental care. Make Dr. Alan your travel destination dentist and be as thrilled as I’ve been!

I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Alan and his professional and talented team! I traveled to Guatemala to have dental implant surgery upon the recommendation of a family friend. The procedure was a complete success and I returned home to Canada extremely pleased with the entire process. From booking the visit and an introductory home phone call from Dr. Antillon to the post-op smoothie and follow up appointment 2 days later, it was a pleasure visiting his modern office and a great comfort to receive such care - entirely in English and at a fraction of the price I would have paid in Canada.
Guatemala is a beautifully diverse and friendly country to visit and to combine travel with efficient, economical and skilled dental surgery is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend Dr. Antillon and his team to anyone looking for dental options.

As an American visiting the country trying to take advantage of the experts at Dental Experts GuatemalaI can’t say enough good things about this office and their staff. I reached out to the office through the “Contact Us” section on the website, received a response within a few hours, and had my appointment scheduled soon after.
The day prior to my appointment, I received confirmation for the next days pickup at my hotel. I was surprised when it was the Dentist who picked me up and drove me into the office with him. The office is situated in a beautiful and modern office building with a spectacular view of the city while you are having work done. It is modern, clean, and everyone is incredibly friendly. I walked into the office, skipped the typical waiting area and was seated in a back room with a big comfortable couch before my exam/cleaning. The exam/cleaning itself was professionally done, and I would say without hesitation that this office would give most dental offices in the U.S. a run for their money based on the quality of work, staff professionalism, and cost. At this point my intentions are to seriously consider traveling to Guatemala for any major dental work, costs of flight and lodging would still be more economical than paying outrageous U.S. costs. Recommend to everyone!!!

I've been to several dentists in Guatemala City, and have been happy with them all, but when I needed an endodontist for a root canal, a friend recommended Dental Experts. I've had 3 other root canals around the world, and I can tell you that from the beginning to the end, everything here was perfect. Super responsive, they got me in that day, they even let me know that they could see me earlier than they originally planned during the day. The office is super modern and welcoming, and conveniently located, and if you don't speak Spanish, all the doctors speak fluent English. They got me in right away, both Dr. Alan and the endodontist went over the options, and got down to business right away. Digital x-rays, all new equipment, etc. Fastest root canal I've ever had, and done with no pain while explaining everything. I could not be happier, and the cost was easily 10 times cheaper than in D.C. and at least as good if not better. In fact, I'll be going back to get another tooth that's been bothering me fixed since they're such pros. If you're thinking about coming to Guatemala to get work done, or live here, you really can't do better than Dental Experts and Dr. Alan.

I have been debating for years about having dental work done in the United States. Dr.Alan was highly recommended to me by family members that have been to him several times. I am so glad I chose to make the trip to Guatemala and have him do the work for a fraction of the price it would have cost in the U.S.. After a long and careful research I ended up choosing Doctor Allan Antillon to put my veneers, based on the great job I saw that he did from different pictures posted on his website. Everything turned out great and it was finally one of my best decisions. For a fraction of the cost that it could have been in Canada or the US, I was able to fix my smile to a perfect white that looks very natural. At the clinic, the staff is welcoming and very helpful, the doctor himself made me feel really comfortable with his confidence and experience. I can say finally I am extremely happy with the results.

I recently visited Dental Experts in order to fix a tooth that had broken. I found the place to be clean, modern and as good, if not better in some cases of any dentist I have visited in the US over the years.

They have all the latest equipment such as digital imaging, are professional, speak great English and made the process smooth and enjoyable even accommodating my erratic travel schedule while there. I would highly recommend them for great pricing and great service.

I went to Dental Experts for a complete check up and scaling. They removed some cavities and one wisdom tooth. Being from Switzerland, I had high standards but the service provided was excellent. The practice itself is very clean. The dentists could speak perfect English answered all my questions in details. I'm usually very uncomfortable at the dentist's but I felt perfectly safe and taken care of. I would highly recommend Dental Experts!

A fantastic all-round experience. Dr Alan picked me up from my hotel and drove me to his state of the art surgery in the morning. Who can honestly say they look forward to their next dental visit? Now we can!

Our experience at Dental Experts Guatemala could not have been better. From our first email contact with Dr. Alan he was always quick to respond and willing to answer any and all of our questions related to our possible treatment needs. His expertise and honesty were fundamental as we were choosing which dental provider to go with.
Even though we ended up not needing, he offered to help us find a place to stay in Guatemala City as well as pick us up at the airport. He was always checking in on us through WhatsApp to make sure all was going well and we were also getting some tourism in between our scheduled appointments. He would pick us up at the hotel for our appointments and then promptly bring us back after the services were rendered. He had previously blocked those office hours for us and was working around our needs, not his usual schedule.
My husband and I had a very large amount of dental work done and all in just 6 days! Incredible time management!
Thus the cost for services came out to 1/3 of what it would cost us in the U.S. and the personalized service is priceless. You are treated as a person, not a body on a chair. Incredible!
I can't even begin to talk about all this amazing team - Top notch professionals!!! This was the first time I felt absolutely no pain during a root canal. They're absolutely amazing!
Everyone is very friendly and language is definitely not an issue. At least someone in the office can speak English, German, Portuguese, or Spanish. From now on, they are our family dentists.
Guatemala is beautiful and safer than most people think. Definitely an added vacation bonus to a dental trip. Who can beat that?

I could not be more pleased. This was my best implant experience and I've had implants done in America and the Dominican Republic which was a mistake. Everything was clean and sterile and professionally done with a personal touch.The doctor and staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport and to and from my appointments. Also Guatemala is a worth while destination with many points of interest.

"Hello,
I want to say that my experience was in every way possible great and I would definitely go back to visit Dr Alan Antillon and his wife that have took good care of all my needs.He will be very forward and to make you spend your money on the most proper conservative treatment you require.
He has a lot of precious information on the city and even can arrange pick up at athe airport and lodging too.
I paid very little for a onlay and root planning scaling plus teeth cleaning.
70 % less than the USA?
I am very happy with the results.
The area is great for shopping and safe.

I went with my wife to Guatemala as she needed extensive dental work and we chose Dental Experts Guatemala after some glowing reviews on the internet. We weren't disappointed as Dr. Antillon personally picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel and arranged all subsequent transport back and forth to the clinic. I wasn't intending to get work at the time but asked Dr. Antillon to check me out. I ended up getting 2 sinus lifts, 2 surgical extractions of toots left in, I assume, from old failed root canals as well as bone grafts both top sides. He placed 3 posts for future implants but will do the other side top after the bone grafts take as it required extra bone graft to fill a large whole from the root extraction. My wife had the same basic treatment and more. We will return for the permanent implants in 6 months after the grafts have taken but in the meantime Dr. Antillon provided us with temporary bridges for functional and cosmetic purposes. The whole experience was almost painless in all ways and very reasonable. The clinic was spotless, the equipment state of the art and the people incredibly professional and personable. Dr. Antillon spoke excellent english and helped us with all apects of our Guatemala experience. I highly recommend Dental Experts Guatemala and Dr. Alan Antillon.

Besides being a thorough clinician, Dr. Antillon provided customer service unknown in The States. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, and saved me 1/2 of the cost of the same procedure done in FL , inclusive of R/T airfare. I'm sure I'll be back if and when the need arises again.

Best medical experience I have EVER had! This visit saved me $5000 vs the U.S. and I have NEVER been treated so well. Picked up at the airport after midnight. Dropped off at the airport at 3am for my convenience. Helped with lodging and other travel, bought lunch, had money exchanged for me, taken around the city as I needed it, brought to the pharmacy for my meds. I was blown away by Dr. Alan's care and quality. To my wife and friends it was a stretch to get the work done in Guatemala, but I am EXTREMELY glad I did in every way I can possibly express!

I went to the clinic to get treated after spotting a pink stain on one of front teeth. Dr. Alan diagnosed me with invasive root resorption. In two painless treatments, that included a root canal and a tooth restoration, Dr Alan has sorted me out perfectly, with very good aesthetic result. Thank you!
