Nice cave with two routes, a shorter one (Q25 per person) easy to do without a guide altought you may miss some formations and a longer one (Q35 per person plus Q50 for the guide) difficult to go all the way through for the first time on your own, guide extremely recommended. The exit of the cave is opposite the entrance through a hill, but if you don't want to walk the street for about 30 min or take a taxi back to the entrance you can climb the hill from the exit and descent it to the entrance, the trail is pretty self-orientative and you will add some extra adventure to the cave trip for free!

Nice place
If you want the long tour you need long pants and get there after 12 as it requires a guide
Overall very nice and inexpensive
Short tour takes 1/2 hour

Its kinda scary how big the cave is, and when you turn off the headlamps you cant see anything, but its a great experience.

Great set of caves to explore. Maybe take a flashlight for more light. Wear good shoes as the floor is slippery. The owner warned many times. Lots of fun to see the formations, bats and other things living in the cave. Went to marker 31 was a one hour tour. Would be great for kids but keep them on a leash.

Amazing, You will definitely have an amazing experience in this cave. You and your light will have more than 2 hours of walking around this cave to discover all the shapes it has on the rocks. Don't forget to bring water and closed shoes and a great camera to take your photos and see how the cave still has some gold in the rocks. Whoops, it seems the Spanish forgot to check there. Enjoy!

It's awsome! No lighting just your own spotlight, sometimes really tight so you have to crawl on all four or even slide on your belly. It's a real experience of caving!

Un lugar muy cercano a Santa Elena y la isla de Flores, unas cuevas con mucha extensión y mucho que ver. Hay muchas formaciones que simulan criaturas y cosas, con un poco de imaginación se ven. Lo malo de este lugar es que no hay un centro de atención al visitante, uno entra a la mano de Dios, sin guías y aunque hay señalización dentro, uno se puede perder. Recomiendo no seguir pasadizos alejados de los señalizados ni separarse del grupo. Igual es un lugar increible.

Estando en Santa Elena o Isla Flores, es un lugar al que se debe ir, es bonito y cuesta sólo 35 quetzales a extranjeros y 25 a nacionales, llegamos ahí en tuc-tuc Una experiencia divertida, en la cuevas sería bueno uso de zapatos cerrados, te dan un casco con linterna.

A neat cave to explore if you are visiting the area and have time. It is reasonably priced, and has some interesting features. The map on the outside is a little worn, so be sure to pay attention to the numbers in order to find your way out.

Despues de pagar, apenas pude internarme en la cueva diez metros, hacía subida y resbalaba mucho el suelo, en una mano la linterna y la otra intentando cogerme a algo.

Si vas a Peten aprovecha ir a estas cuevas, están cerca de Flores, en el lugar hay guía ideal llevar tus linternas si no llevas el guía te puede alquilar.

Es un bonito lugar pero toma en cuenta que no hay luz adentro. Si sufres de claustrofobia considera entrar. Mejor paga un guía que te acompañe.

Full dark inside. Have to rent or bring lights. Lights are off since where affecting / drying water that runs on the cave formations. Get a guide to be able to move inside.
