Very nice modern look. Goos staff and excellent service.
Great upscale hotel in a very modern and safe area of Guatemala City. Stayed here for a week with no issues at all. I did not use their restaurant service simply because I wanted to explore the area instead. There is a variety of restaurants within walking distance from formal sit-down to low budget cafes. But once you go out of the area, you will find most of the city is old and not well maintained. Lots of traffic with lots of smog.
Nice safe location in zone 10. The rooms are new and modern. The airport shuttle is a nice plus.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern. Hotel lobby and restaurant are great. Hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to and from airport as well. Great service and friendly staff.
My wife and I stayed for one night at the hotel. I personally work at a Marriott property in North Carolina and the service and condition of this hotel was amazing. Alejandro our waiter was exceptional, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Having a hotel shuttle to the airport is a huge plus. Thank you for your great service.
Good location clean rooms, lot of restaurant close by. Also this is in safe area you can alone walk at night
Small and nice hotel. Good food (breakfast), No pool
Was in town for 4 days on business, this hotel was sparkling clean, food was incredible, staff were awesome. I felt safe and secure the whole trip. the staff even introduced me to a cab driver Jose' who drove me anywhere at anytime, and I paid him well for his effort.
it was my first time in Guatemala on business and it couldn't have went better. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.tip well people they deserve it.
This is my second time at this hotel and I absolutely love it! The staff here is amazing! The customer service is top notch, much better than the hotels I have stays at in the states. The location is in Zona 10 where there are many restaurants and cafes, of course if you don't want to go out there is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Brand new hotel, with great service and convenient location.
It was great. We stayed the night and booked two rooms. It had great TV and comfortable beds. I am kind of writing random stuff to get more money. I am righting this for Google O. Rewards. Nice meme, 420 is the best number. Please don't reply to this comment. I had a great time at the Marriott. I recommend it and you should go to it.
I was very impressed with the Courtyard Marriott in Guatemala. Very clean place, check in experience was flawless with exceptional customer service. The only reason I am not giving this property five stars is because I had a really unexpected situation happen; I was only in town for a few days and I had a family member pass by to come visit me at around 11 pm. He had to wait for me in the lobby because he was told "no visitors are allowed after 11 pm" I was really bothered because I have never heard of such thing at a Marriott. I approached the front desk to talk about this inconvenience and I was told that each additional person in my room had an additional charge of $25???? I was not explained this policy at check in. When I asked why would they charge me per person in my room when I was already paying for the whole room, the front desk clerk replied "We have the right to refuse service to whoever we want". At this point, I was really annoyed and bothered. I have never heard of this policy at any Marriott. I did not want to argue with the gentleman at the front desk so I had to catch up with my cousin AT THE LOBBY. Still really bothered by this. If you are traveling with family, be prepared to get charged $25 per person. Not only do I find this ridiculous but the attitude of the night clerk also bothered me a lot. I love Marriott and will continue to stay at Marriotts but this particular property's policy was very strange to me. I was not aware visiting hours were a thing at hotels.
Regardless of this inconvenience, The property is beautiful. And for the most part, the customer service was superb
Great place to have a relax time or a work meeting.
