Fantastic stuff. Fabulous history of jade museum.
The best Jade store and museum, beatiful products, great service, a must for anyone visiting Guatemala
Beautiful jewelry but pricy!
Absolutely love this place. Discovered it a little over 2 years ago in Antigua, Guatemala and bought a beautiful necklace that ended up in my niece's jewelry box. I wanted one for myself so on my recent trip to Guatemala I went directly there when i got to Antigua.
Didn't find one like the one I had bought in 2015 but they made me one just like it but with a black jade. It is absolutely beautiful.
Gracias Casa Del Jade por todas sus atenciones. En mi próximo viaje los visitaré sin duda.
Nice location
The best places ever!!
Great deals and tour
My boyfriend and I bought a beautiful ring from here a few weeks ago - staff were friendly and attentive. Ring came with sapphires, jade and hallmarked silver which the shop assistant confirmed. Unfortunately after leaving Guatemala several days later to return back to England the 'silver' was rubbing off, revealing copper underneath that looked terrible and left a green mark on my fingerturns out it's plated silver that wore off within a week of purchasing. Not only does this show the poor quality of the plating but also that they deliberately mislead us through the fake hallmark and verbal confirmation of silver. Please be wary of any jewellery you purchase from here!
Ok place, but they're just trying to sell you jewelry after you pay an entrance fee. Not worth visiting IMO.
We stopped in the Casa del Jade on our walk from our hotel towards the Central Park. It's located on the east-side of Antigua and is a wonderful 1 hour activity if you include the guided tour (complimentary) along with the shopping experience afterwords. The guides are versed in English, Spanish, Italian, German and French. On the tour you'll see jade in its natural state and also see how it is transformed into beautiful stones of various shades. You'll learn the history of jade and its importance and symbolism to the Maya culture while viewing many replica exhibits. Once the tour is complete, you'll be guided into the shop.
SPECIAL NOTE: Our guide was wonderful, enthusiastic and informative. However, the exhibits looked a little tired and in need of a revamp. Also, cruise ships bring guests here, so it's best to time this visit in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds.

The tour is nice but the jewelry is slightly over priced.
Great selection of jewelry, but overpriced since it is targeted towards tourists.
My jade bracelet broke after 2 months. I have emailed twice, as their warranty specifies, and have not heard back. Very disappointed,
ook the free tour from Ernesto and learned a lot about the history of the area and the importance of Jade. I have never been very excited about Jade but after Ernesto was done with us I was excited to get a piece in the shop. Great prices. Love my Jade!
