Decent hostel with basic rooms. The boat from Isla de Flores to the hostel is convenient and a simple WhatsApp message away. If you stay here, make sure to check out the prices for tours and buses at travel agencies on the island first. Casa de Grethel's prices were higher.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff is super helpful and I love the location. It is a two minute boat ride across the lake from Flores and they provide a free service. I came here for two days and stayed ten!!!

Wonderful hostel on the lake run by some very caring people. Nice lake view as well. Free boat ride to and from the mainland. One of my favorite hostels to date.

While I didn’t actually stay here, I wish I had. As I was staying nearby, I are a couple meals here and the service and quality of food was excellent and the price was absolutely reasonable especially considering they’re really the only restaurant in San Miguel. The facilities look exceptionally clean and accommodating and the dining area on the dock is the icing on the cake. Absolutely recommend!

Comfortable bed, idyllic location across the lake from Flores/ easy connection by boat (gratis), smaller hostel offering nice and reasonably priced food, friendly hosts who went out of their way to help me when Sandra got sick (for example, doctor visits, cooked food/ juice), purified water, coffee and bananas also provided free of charge.

The owner made me feel very welcome! Great facilities, everything is very clean. Working air conditioning, hot water showers, free mangos and fully equipped kitchen. I met a lot of great people there. It is out of the Flores island but they have a boat you can use at any time to and from Flores.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Sara and her family cannot do enough to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The house is on a beautiful lake, the rooms are very clean and all have AC. We stayed in a dorm then a private room. Free fruit and coffee. Lovely kitchen and the ladies cooking (as thw hostel does a menu of breakfast and lunch) also do your dishes. Free boat whenever you need back and forth to the main island. Can't recommend this place enough.

Wow!!! One of the best place I've been so far! The place is new for now 4 or 5 months. When it's been a while you're away from home, Casa Grethel feels just like home! The staff is just so nice, they take care of you, they want you to feel like at home! There's also a kitchen with everything you need. You should definetely take a look at this place:)

Really nice hostel with clean rooms and good facilitys. The staff just feels like your family. Free boat shuttle. Just don't like that there is only one bath for a 8 bed dorm and the staff, so sometimes long waiting time.

Habe hier einige sehr schöne Nächte verbracht. Das Hotel wurde 2017 eröffnet, somit ist alles neu, sauber und hochwertig. Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend. Die vorhandene Küche hat alles was man braucht. Gerne wieder!
