Very clean and relaxing hostel. Carlos, the host, is very helpful, he helped us to plan our trip and enjoy our stay in Antigua and Guatemala

Absolutely fantastic place to relax. Carlos is the most helpful host I have ever come across. For trips or transport he will only put you in touch with reputable, and good providers.
We are a couple and just needed a simple place to call home close to town. It was perfect.

Amazing place to stay. Carlos is one of the friendliest host I ever had. The rooms are basic but you have all what you need. The terrace in the back is ideal to also work with your laptop. There are 2 good and stable Wi-Fis available. The free coffee and tea are amazing and there is also hot showers available :)

This is a small hostel which is quiet. It is located about a five minute walk from the central park or the main square. My private room was clean and the shared bathroom was clean. The owner Carlos is super friendly and speaks very good English so there is no communication issues. He will set up shuttles to other destinations, etc. I had a very nice stay here.

Carlos was very helpful and answered all our questions in perfect English. Booking shuttles and trips up volcanos was a breeze thanks to him. We had everything we needed, just be happy with a lukewarm shower ;-)

I don't even know how to say thank you. Carlos is a brilliant host and made our stay here one worth returning to and recommending highly. I haven't stayed in a more welcoming hostel. Carlos is a magnificent host with a lot of patients to have put up with us. Thankyou.

Carlos. Carlos Carlos Carlos Carlos Carlos. He is why we will keep coming back to casa gitana. Carlos is the best host, gives honest advice and has a large knowledge for what ever you need our desire in Antigua/Guatemala
