Great bakery. Came for the cookies, stayed for the ice cream sandwiches and came back for the breakfast sammies! Best bagels in town, super friendly group of owners/employees, would highly recommend Canela to a friend!

Walking down to the smell of deliciousness. Freshly local coffee; tasty cinnamon rolls that was absolutely too good! Cookies were savory but had some mouthwatering brownies. Very nice little bakery yet a place to enjoy the moment.

Amazing! Wanted to try everything they sold. Blondies and fudge walnut brownies were savory. Cinnamon rolls to die for. Worth planning your day to make this a regular stop.

I was wandering around Antigua looking for a snack on a Sunday. By chance I passed Canela Antigua and, loving cinnamon, walked in to investigate. Let me say that after a lifetime of eating cinnamon buns and related pastry, David hit a new high for me. He has attended pastry chef school in San Francisco and it certainly shows. .Although his shop is a bit off the beaten path in the center, I plan to return every day for the remainder of my stay in Antigua.

David is the real deal! His unique baked goods are delicious and beautiful. Recommend the whiskey rye chocolate cookies, or the Nutella loaf, or probably anything he sells!

Amazing, fresh and delicious! I had the opportunity to try a loaf of Sourdough bread as the baker and artist is prepping his kitchen. WOW. I am really looking forward to them being open and all the wonderful goodies to come from the shop!
