  Un sitio arqueologico retirado al cual se llega por el Río La Pasión. Nunca en mi vida había visto tantos zancudos juntos. Un bello lugar, cargado de historia maya.

  A fun site for the more adventurous tourist Signs were lacking. Posted at 45 degree angles to rural intersections, it is impossible to decipher which way they lead without asking friendly local residents. Bridge was out and mud run made me nervous even with 4x4 Hilux. Once "there" the road simply ends at a field. Local guided us 1/2 mile to brown river to call for boat. Howler monkeys were amazing and so were swarms of mosquitos, that didn't care much that we came armed with repellent. Currently being excavated and protected by friendly guards. Many carvings looted during war. The experience of finding the place and the people made this trip worth it. Ruins are currently not too impressive. Some cool ball courts and bases of older structures.
