Best visit early in the morning. Bring heats of water, and some snacks, yet certainly a must go whilst in Coban or surroundings.

Bellizimo lugar, muy buena atención, recomiendo acampar y pasar unos dÃas para aprovechar la tranquilidad, recorrer los senderos y tener la suerte de ver un hermoso quetzal en libertad

Un lugar magnÃfico para ir de caminata, acampar y aprender sobre el quetzal(ave nacional), y las orquÃdeas. Cuentan con un museo.

This is the place where our national bird resides. Although we did not see it the stroll up and down was beautiful. There were water fountains to behold and gorgeous photo opportunities. At the end of our Trek, we thought we had seen a Quetzal, but it ended up being a toucan that was green in color. The people are friendly and it is not overcrowded. The only bad thing is the pricing. Locals get charged a late fee while people from other countries pay almost double. When you convert dollars to quetzales it's a very low fee. However that's not the point. Pricing should be adjusted.
