So many lies! They said the place had WiFi, it didn't. Hasn't for months and according to the staff say it will not be fixed any time soon. The "delux" bedroom only contained a bed. No hooks to hang clothes, no table, no chair, nothing apart from the bed. There is nothing eco about this hostel. The toilets are filled with bright blue chemicals, the water bottle refills cost 10q. The room was very clean (not much to clean as it only contained a bed). The mattress was VERY hard but clean. There is no electricity during the day or night to charge anything, only in the evening for a couple of hours. The showers are cold and the staff are nice but not very capable. You have to buy a money voucher as they do not accept cash for dinner. I assume this is down to the staff stealing. There is no where to sit and smoke. I had a big argument with the owner about the lack of WiFi and wanted to pay less. Wellington, the owner, threatened to call the tourist police.
I would avoid this place at all costs.
Also, I think one of the puppies has worms as he is painfully thin and has really bad fur.response / report this review -

Un lugar nuevo. Nos encantaron las cabañas y el precio es justo. Son limpias y tienen lo necesario. Es un hostal no se puede pedir algo como un Westin Está cercano a Semuc Champey y nos atendieron muy bien. El hostal está enmedio de la selva. Tiene unas cuevas subterráneas dentro de la propiedad que muy pronto las van a poner en uso y tendrán acceso. La pasamos muy bien con los juegos de mesa y el billar por la noche. Tiene cuartos privados, semi privados y un dorm. Wellington nos atendió muy bien y de seguro vamos a regresar. Ya que es un lugar nuevo tiene muchos proyectos por delante. Es justo el ambiente adecuado para el lugar.

El lugar es muy lindo, en medio de la montaña y a tres km de semuc ( fuimos caminando hasta semuc, lo cual recomiendo ya sea a la ida o a la vuelta). Pero sin dudas lo mejor del hostal es su personal. Wellington es un genio. Se encargo de reservarnos el boleto hacia tikal y nos hizo todos los arreglos para llegar a flores. Eso si, llevar qutzales para pagar.

Nefasto el hostal y nefasto Wellington!!!! Un negocio joven con un dueño que no tiene ni idea de como hay que tratar a su clientela. Ademas de pagar un precio indecente por la calidad del hostal nos cobró también los vasos de agua caliente. Me pasaré de todo comentario sobre la actitud que tenía con mi novia. Por fin, un hostel que se dice implicado en el tema del consumo organico, pero de organico, solo el nombre tiene. Poco recomandable.
