  We rented a Toyota Yaris online from kayak website. We were a bit scared as we rented one from Payless rent a car Guatemala a few years back and it was AWFUL.
  Oh how Alamo was different!!! We met the Alamo agent and he took us and our luggage to the pick up area. The line moved fast, the clerk were amicable and helpful. It was a very fast process and we went on our way. Quick and painless. The car was WONDERFUL. Automatic, AC, clean, well kept, nice nice car!
  We returned the car and again, the staff was very friendly, fast and painless. This was an AMAZING experience for myself, my husband and my 2 children. The price was excelent, the service fantastic and a really well maintained vehicle. I will rent again and never choose another renta car! Gracias Alamo Guatemala!

  El mejor servicio al cliente de Guatemala, todos son muy amables incluso si no trabajan durectamente con el cliente. Sus vehiculos son nuevos y es economico.

  I made a reservation with them a few weeks in advance, called them a day before and they said everything was good and ready to go . Got there no car . Asked what happened, not a real answer was given. I found they do this a lot, when demand is high they will give vehicles to people willing to pay more, so reserving with them has not point . So lame, not the standard you expect from a worldwide company .

  I made my reservation 2 months before my trip, and called 1 week and 1 day before to confirm my car. I arrived to the Alamo location and they told me the car was not there. I told them that I needed an SUZ for my family, and that I has paid for an insurance for the car. I was supposed to pay for 13 days $560 for the car and I had budgeted for that amount with some extra for the fuel. The wanted to give me that pick up truck at the same amount, but I told them that my insurance was for an SUV only. In total for the same coverage they wanted to make me pay 1100 for the pick up truck full coverage. Knowing it was there error they didn't want to take responsibility for the insurance. They only wanted to give me a $25 discount. Really. just horrible

  First time renting a vehicle in Guatemala. Staff was friendly and very professional. 21 years old and they had no problem on renting me a vehicle for a week. Definitely recommend them.
