Nice chill out place in Rasta style. Atmosphere was great, there are beach showers which was a great thing. However, the toilets were without water and not that clean, for those who find this important, this might be a small disappointment.
We were looking for a no windy beach when wind is coming from west side. This beach was hidden, small and lovely. We put our own chairs and umbrella next to beach bar. Sand wasnt the best but it was ok. Although you are unable to see mount Athos from there, I was lucky enough to see this beauty queen after an hour of snorkelling
The best music of Halkidiki. Great after 1am!
The least crowded beach I've seen in Sithonia, possibly because of the rocky bottom. Also, waves and wind are quite frequent, from what I understand. Great view of Mt. Athos. Access is via a perfectly practicable and wide enough dirt road. Parking never seems to be a problem. Beach bar has friendly, laid back staff and medium prices (frappé+Eza beer=€6.50). There is also a lot of room for towels. They are said to host great beach parties in the evening/at night, but I only stayed through the day. My favorite beach in Sithonia because it never seems to be too crowded. Bring water shoes though.
Wild beach with stunning views.
Bar offer food and drinks. Has nice and clean toilets.
Music is great!
Great place!
Nice club, parties until sunrise and longer
After Tigania Beach this is the second best snorkeling place in Sithonia (discovered by me). The problem with Goa beach, as well as with Tigania beach, is that they are exposed to de east and south-east winds blowing almost daily from the Athos Mountain.
One year ago (September 2015) for ten days we tried without success to catch a day without waves on Goa beach. This year (August 2016) we were lucky enough to have a calm sea in our first day of holiday in Sarti. So we went directly to Goa beach to check if there are waves crashing on the Goa beach left side water emerging rocks. The sea was flat so we go directly for about two hours of snorkeling on the left side of the beach going round the rocky shelf rising from the water.
The water was crystal clear with 20-25 m visibility and there is a combination of shallow and deep water with high solid rocks on a sand bottom. The sea life is not very abundant but the underwater landscape is great.
Another great advantage of this beach is that it is not crowded mainly due to the dirt road which does not look very encouraging in the beginning for small cars. There is also a large enough parking area and the sunbeds and umbrellas are theoretically free (you have to order a set of drinks from the bar).
Excellent place with views of Mt Athos. The drive is on unpaved road.
Goa is a very nice beach and not very crowded during the day. The people at the bar are very friendly and the music is very nice.
