We loved staying here. It seems that there are more 'crouded' places in the village, but this is a very good place to stay for a night when hiking the region.

Our stay at To Rodi was the highlight of our recent two-week visit to Northern Greece. The hotel, a former family summer house, sits on top of a hill with magnificent views of the Zagoria mountains. Everything about it reflects the delicate and refined taste of Penelope who, along with her daughter Billie and her son Chris, are among the nicest and most generous people we have ever met during our many trips abroad.

The pleasure starts with the beautiful garden, the tasteful furniture, antique lamps, hand woven wall carpets and silver objects that decorate the lobby, the eating area and the rooms themselves. Each door is hand-painted. The views from the windows of the second floor take your breath away ! We felt as if we were living in an enchanted Villa! Honestly

Penelope is always there to offer you some of her home made jams and a cup of hot mountain tea next to her sculptured fire place
The location is perfect for excursions by foot or by car in the region + many restaurants a
minute or two away.

When we were about to leave Penelope accompnaied us to the parking
in the backyard and offered us a rose flower from the garden to enjoy on our way back. What a woman! So sweet of her! She is as big-hearted as she is small! Please, treat her gently. She is to be treasured as an icon of great wisdom and dignity.

Yes. This is an absolutely not to- be -missed rare haven for unfairly small
price. We are lucky to have found it. We already miss the glorious days we spent at To Rodi and envy any one of you who is about to discover this gem of a guest house in Megalo Papingo. With Much Love and Megalo Admiration, Tami & Fredi, Tel Aviv
