what a wonderful holiday we had at Villa tasos . The owner and his son made us very welcome we will surely be going again . The apartments are perfectly placed a two minute walk from the beach and a two minute walk from all the shops. that was may 2017 now october 2017 our forth time at Villa Tasos hey! it must be good to go four times on the trot . Something keeps drawing us back Tasos and his son are such warm people. They apartments are not the poshest Ive stayed in but the love and warmth that emanate from the boys is overwhelming. you walk along a path that doesnt look much but as you turn the corner a wonderful oasis hits you. You are a few minutes from the beach one way and a few minutes from the shops the other way. We are already planning our trip for next year and cant wait to see the lads again. Thank you both for making our time with you so great.

I have returned from there last weekend and I have so many beautiful memories to share. First of all, I must mention the owner Mr. Tasos and his girlfriend Ms. Lucia, who are incredibly excellent as human beings and travel extra miles to satisfy your requirements. I wonder, this kind of human beings are extremely rare today. Lucia was a renowned tennis player from Slovakia and she actually has a typical sportsperson spirit. Mr. Tasos is very kind, gentle and a lovely person.Â
Swimming pool in Villa Tasos is smaller than so called public pools. I found it very clean and area is a perfect set for sunbath. Mr. Tasos's son Mr. Mahos and his girlfriend takes care of Pool bar and surrounding areas with ever-smiling faces. They are always around and accessible and takes care of every need. Sea beach is a few meters away from this place, as the high street and supermarkets. Plenty of ATMs, several shops, restaurants, bars are within few meters of walk. There is a small gym at the corner above big supermarket as well, though I did not try it. Several good restaurants and bars are located besides the sea beach.
I feel owner can put some more attention towards kitchenette and electrical wiring in kitchen area. Fridge door can be replaced as well. Also, they may like to consider adding little more charging points for recharging mobiles and other devices.
It is recommended to book a hotel transfer with Villa Tasos as taxi fares are very high in the island. Though there is a public transport (bus), but unfortunately, I could not even spotted one during day and evening whenever I was travelling around. You can book a sightseeing tour or excursion tour with local agents located on the street of Acharavi near the Villa. Tours and excursions organised by Ionian Sea Cruises and Joy Cruises are the most trusted ones.Â
I preferred to eat and drink in Woody's near the sea beach, Orpheus / Lemon Garden and some others on the main street. I tried local draught beers like Corfu, Mythos and they were very nice to me! Small shops and eateries are open till late in midnight so if you are hungry after partying hard, that should not be a problem during peak seasons. It is recommended to keep a little backup in your apartment's refrigerator as well. You will find more apartments than hotels in Acharavi, atleast I did not find any.Â
Acharavi is a perfect place for the families, for couples who like to relax and for pensioners. If you are looking for partying hard, then Acharavi is not probably the right place for you! Acharavi is calm and beautiful. Lemons, Pumpkins, Grapes are in abundance almost everywhere in Acharavi.response / report this review -

Good location. Reasonably priced. Rooms are a little austere for my liking.
Owner lives in Penthouse of 2nd building.
Beach is a few minutes walk one way and tourist shops/high street and supermarket are a few minutes walk the other way.
We got lost finding it in the middle of night - no proper singage on the main road.
Friendly atmosphere.

A really amazing stay. Made so much better by really friendly and outing staff, they aim to make sure you have everything you need and even more so to make sure you are enjoying your stay.
The pool/ bar area is the best part of the hotel to be around, they keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable for family stays and people of all ages. I would definitely recommend this stay for anybody. Thank you to Villa Tasos for making a first holiday one to certainly remember.response / report this review -

We had been for a week and it was very comfortable. The rooms were perfect and the hosts were friendy. We decide that We gonna go on the next summer.

This place suited me perfectly. It is a nice relaxing place with nice people. You won't get better value in Corfu.
