The hotel is beautiful. The views from the pool are excellent! The buffet breakfast is very basic with everything that you could want, but nothing exceptional. The salads available at the pool bar are delicious as is the food from the rooftop restaurant (the views up there are amazing) 5 minute walk to the beach (very steep downhill) and a 20 minute bus ride (€2 each way) into skiathos town which isn't too bad as the hotel is one of the first stops om the route you always get a seat. DO NOT STAY IF YOU CANNOT MANAGE STEEP HILLS. There are no lifts.

The rooms were not as advertised. The mattress was the worst i have ever slept on, but is ok if you ask for a matress topper. The maids do not hoover, mop under the bed. As usual-two twins rather than one double.

Lovely place for a relaxing holiday
The staff. Food. And place has a stunning pool and bad area. With spectacular views all around above Martha beach in Skiathos. Due to the revaluation of currency it is a little expense. So I advise at least half board here. Their is a shuttle bus to take you to the beach and bring you back. But the pool area has luxury loungers. So you don't have to go to the beach the pool has a very deep and shallow end

Our favorite place to stay in Skiathos. The food is pretty good, especially for dinner. However, the drinks prices could probably be rounded down a little bit.

This place has the wow factor, from arriving at the premium reception to seeing the stunning views from bar and pool side. Deffinelty go to the roof top restraunt, the food comes in large portions and always cooked perfectly You also get the stunning views. Staff in all areas of this hotel are always polite and ready to help.

The Koukounaries beach is around 10 minute walk down steep steps and a track, there is also a courtesy hotel bus running frequently This beach is worth the visit, water sports, bar serving drinks and food available + small shop selling cold drinks and icescream.

100% would go back to this hotel, great family location or couples.

Fantastic hotel with great customer service and good food. Spectacular location overlooking a beautiful baby and beach. Awesome sunsets from the lovely bar. Also a wonderful small hotel beach.

We just returned from a 1 week stay at the Skiathos Palace Hotel.
Initial impressions were very good, and never really faltered. The reception area is large, spacious and slightly cooled, reception staff were very professional and polite and the bagboys were very helpful and friendly.
We had to wait 10 minutes or so for our room to be made ready, but most other guests were immediately taken to their rooms. This wasn't a problem as we had arrived earlier than expected, so we can't complain about that.
The room was very nice, though in hindsight we wish we had paid the extra for a seaview. We had a modern room, so this included access to the free wifi (not very fast though), beautifully decorated and well maintained, air-con and a wonderfully clean bathroom. We have to say that the maids were excellent throughout the length of our stay, excellent at their jobs and very friendly.
Our only gripe about the room was that the beds were a little uncomfortable, we think mainly down to the quality of the sheets, they were very stiff and also seemed a little worn. Fresh towels were provided most days (though not all).
Our room was not equipped with a safe, though a safe deposit box can be hired for €3 per day, also my wife was disappointed that there was no hairdryer in the room.
The pool area at the hotel was brilliantly maintained, very pretty, beautiful views out over the Aegean, Koukanaries beach and other islands in the distance. The pool bar was also excellent, plenty of food and drink available and an extensive cocktail menu, though I always got the impression that the staff there weren't the happiest to be serving people. They were never rude, or unfriendly, but they never really seemed to be happy.
From our experience, food in the main restaurant was not up to much (though everyone else seemed to enjoy it) and was quite costly if staying on a B&B basis, we only used the main restaurant in the evening one time and were charged €28 each for the privilege of using the buffet style meal. We always found it cheaper to eat out in town and the food was better too. Breakfast however was decent, a huge variety of options and all well prepared.
There is however and alternative if you wish to eat at the hotel, the White View taverna. Situated on the roof of the hotel and beautifully equipped, the views are stunning and the food is truly excellent (though a little highly priced).
On the whole the hotel represented excellent value for money for accommodation and we would be more than happy to return, if the quality of the food can be improved then this hotel is a real winner.
Also worth noting is that the hotel is situated across 6 floors, and there is no elevator. Also there is a mighty trek down to the beach down some quite steep steps, so if you are not the most mobile of people, this may be of concern to you. The hotel does operate a shuttle bus to and from the beach at Koukanaries and this runs very frequently. We found that we preferred the much smaller Maratha Beach, which the hotel also has a bar on, this had excellent snacks and lots of drinks to choose from.
Beach towels were available freely from the hotel gift shop, an excellent service.
For those who wish to travel in to Skiathos Town (highly recommended) the islands bus service stops at the bottom of the hotel drive and costs only €2 each. This runs every 15 minutes or so..

Amazing family hotel on a great Island. Close to the best beach in Skiathos Koukounaries beach. Very beautiful views and a nice buffet breakfast. The rooms are very nice but it is an expensive option.

The hotel is kept clean tidy staff are very acomadating and plesant .English breakfast is very good .if your not used to walking an distance then this location will be very tiring as there are at least 150 steps down to the beach although the hotel does lay on a mini bus every 15 mins to the 2 local beaches and also into skiathos town twice a day wich are well worth a visit.Cannot complain about the hotel apart from no tea making facilities in the rooms and no hairdryer for my wife .we had a room facing the pine trees and are very quiet I heard that the the sea view rooms are very nice but there is quite a lot of noise from the quads that people hire to get around the island.If I came back to skiathos I would defiantly hire one for the week it makes things a lot more accessible even up to the hotel entrance but not so nesasary if your a walker or sun worshiper.

Pretty sweet hotel. The rooms have a strong class system where you can choose from many different level of rooms. I had the second lowest level, which had a fairly modern room and a of view a tiny beach of the other side of the hotel from the main beach. The room was alright, but nothing special. Most of the food was edible, although I ended up getting the Mac and Cheese most of the time. We also had to pay for drinks. There was also a great view of the main beach from the main "level" of the hotel. There is WiFi, but you have to pay a larger amount for it. The beach is far bellow the hotel so you have to spend like 10 minutes walking up and down a hill. Apparently, there's also a shuttle to get there without having to walk, but I didn't get to use that. The beach itself has fantastically clear water and after a few minutes you can ever find a spot with not that many people around. There are also a lot of bars, which is nice.
