  You should really make the drive to the traditional mountain village of Maries when on Thassos. And when you are there, Petsas family tavern is the place to go!
  You will eat in the old village square under the trees, and the food is the best, you will find on the island.
  Ask the waiters to suggest a traditional tavern menu to you, and they will make sure you get an amazing experience!
