Difficult beach conditions! The hotel has a private beach thats on a steep incline with big slippery rocks to access the ocean from your chairs. It takes you a long time to navigate entry and exit of the ocean to your chairs without losing balance. Its upsetting bc for a 4 star hotel- they could fix the beach which is their biggest attraction. Their 5 star resort right next door does not have a steep incline to the ocean and the beach has much smaller rocks! How did that happen?? I recommend you buy water shoes or stay somewhere else like Panormos beach which is close by and has a much easier access to the ocean. Also- not easy to get to main part of town or even next door Panormos beach so you kind of feel like u r stuck at the hotel. They should offer free shuttle service to town or at least close ny panormos beach. The hotel is a 4 star but really is a 3 star accommodations. Each room has a mini fridge but its empty without a mini bar. The bathrooms and rooms themselves are very nice. They should switch to a card access reader for your door rather than have to carry heavy keys. No coffe machine in the room which is odd for a 4 star. Breakfast is plentiful but for a 4 star they should have a waitet come around at least offering basic coffee. They charge extra for anything but filtered coffee. They guard the beach towels like they are made of gold!!! Seriously.how many people are going to steal plane blue towels that arent even engraved?!?!?! The hotel itself is on a steep incline and you feel it every time you navigate the property with voluminous stairs and incline roadways. What a workout! They offer to take you up and down with a golf cart but not that easy to get whenever you need one. To sum up- for the money you are paying - there are better choices!!

Wonderful hotel with extremely friendly staff and lots of activities. The facilities are a little outdated, but nevertheless properly maintained.
