Beautiful beach, nice beach bar, decent restaurant.
Not crowded at all (mid September)
Nice beach. Visited in the middle of september. Not crowded. Nice food. Wather is cristal clear Send and pebbles. Only reachable by car.
Great beach, a little hard to get (dusty road with lots of curves), but it was worth it :) Small tip: you can't bring your own food or drings, 25€ penalty :)
A easy paced beach bar with lots of shade, alternative music, three decks, supersized pillows and a great tavern for seafood. The sea is nice and the beach sand a little coarse but overall a good choice for tuning it down a notch.
Just beautiful one of the most beautiful beach & beach bar experience I had in Greece.
First of all - the dirt road to the beach has about 1.8km, but is well cared.
The beach was not crowded at all. You can choose from beanbags or sunbeds to use, free of charge. Of course ordering from the bar is advised.
Restaurant had only a few options, probably they just opened for the season (we had a cheese & vegetables pizza with crunchy and tasty crust and a Greek salad).
Prices overall seem higher than other places, but the whole experience is worth it. Beers: local bottled 5-6€, 0.5l water €0.5, cocktails 8€, Greek salad 5.5€, pizza €8. I also saw some other dishes like burgers, ribs but did not ask for the price of those.
Mojito, mixed at the bar was tasty and comparable with the ones we had in Cuba :-)
Music: chill out, lounge. Not disturbing.
Sunbeds & beanbags on the beach, on the wood terrace or on the grass under shaded trees
We stayed the whole day (9:30 - 19:30) and loved it.
Really friendly staff as well.
Ex Banana / now Rodia beach. Nice and expensive bar, chilling shadows under the trees, crystal water.
The access dirt road to Rodia Beach is not very easy for small cars because the slope is very steep. Despite this aspect, the beach had plenty of visitors, but we manage to find without problems a parking lot and sunbeds with umbrella. After 1 PM the beach has plenty of natural shadow from the tall trees that are flanking the sand strip.
You do not have to pay for the sunbeds, but you have to order some drinks from the beach bar.
Theoretically you are not allowed to come on the beach with your own drinks and food if you want to use the installed sunbeds and fixed umbrellas.
Snorkeling on the left side of rodia beach is very interesting. On my own appreciation scale of 1 to 5 points, I marked the Rodia beach with a score of 3.5 points for snorkeling.
The water is crystal clear, the sea bottom landscape is rocky combined with sand and sea-grass. Swimming round the isolated “finger” rock, you will find two small remote beaches, accessible only from the sea, where you can take a rest.
Due to the steep and very high rocky shore, after 2 PM this part of the coast will be already in shadow, so for snorkeling is advisable to go before 1 PM, in order to have sun light under the water.
Awesome beach, a bit off road access, but worth taking a turn from main road. Nice, natural shade, grass, lazy bags, sunbeds and ambrellas. Wonderful turquoise water, can be just a bit windy, enjoyable! No WiFi 😂
The best beach bar on the East side of Sithonia with very nice public. Great music, fantastic cocktails & views. Clean waters, super for exploring the sea.
Keep in mind this is a high-end place and you might find it pricey. However it offers great value for money.
Nice place. Sun down quick.
Nice bar and under the trees shadow confortable area
