Great view, Great Staff
After a week of traveling throughout Greece, I've come to appreciate the facility and service of Porto Palace. Their buffet-style breakfast and dinner is great! Fresh items, well prepared, something for everyone. Variety of fresh salads, properly seasoned and dressed, was a rarity. High quality fruit preserves at breakfast did not go unappreciated. Even meat dishes sitting in a chafing tray were quite good. The hotel also has a gym, and the conference room facility is nicely located away from the main lobby.
Nice ambience overall, rooms clean but just ok. Good breakfast buffet. Wi-Fi works well overall but slow esp. In the evening. Weakest point is the location - about 3.5 km from downtown in an ugly commercial/port area with nothing you can do around
We were there for a conference. The conference rooms provided were amazing. The service was great and everyone was always ready to help us. The participants that we booked to stay there were very happy with their rooms and the staff as well.
The food during our conference was also great and covered everyone's taste.
Beautiful building, great view of the port, very comfortable room, great facilities and infrastructure. Management and staff very commited in providing the best experience. Delicious breakfast.
Good service. Clean new rooms. Good location.
Very beautiful hotel with good services, a secured parking lot, conference halls, a big gym, small swimming pools and big bar on the roof with a nice view.. . 4 point because of its location outside the center and the view to the harbor..
Located in the middle of the industrial port area, very unpleasant and far from city centre. The advertised pool is just small tubes next to the bar, also these were closed for private party. Breakfast is served only starting 7am, we arranged for breakfast boxes to take away due to early departure, the boxes were not provided in the morning. This is not a 5 star hotel, maximum 3 star + bad location.
A nice hotel and friendly staff, however the rooms need some refurbishment, the mattresses are hard. It has a lovely rooftop bar with an amazing view over the shipyard of Thessaloniki, great breakfast
Away from the center but not that much enough to find some peace . the service are amazing
One of the best to stay . The only problem is the distance from the city.
Breathtaking. The rooms are amazing done in wood with an absolutely stunning general balcony outside of the windows. The washrooma are upscale and the price is not high compared to similar hotels in other places in Europe and it's no less deserving.
The rooms of the hotel are good, but all of them with bad view to a parking lot. The photos on the internet are showing the hotel look much better that it is. There was a nice little indoor jacuzzi and sauna, which I used I and like the fact, there weren't any other hotel guest using it at the time. The staff were friendly. There was place where you can park your car free of charge in front of the hotel. The hotel is nearby the city centre via car in about 5 minutes just forward. But far for walk, if you don't have a car, better call a taxi cab. The hotel is overpriced for it's location and view.
Hotel lies in the middle of nowhere, no nice walks around, just ugly industry. Rooms are nice but some windows open to inner courts -no fresh air. Staff is very friendly but unprofessionell, not well trained.
