Excellent hotel in Vasiliki. A bit up the hill (so mind the 100+ stairs - that was not a problem for us) with a pool. We got an upgrade for a bigger room with sea view. Excellent service. If I had one recommendation I'd say the coffee could be better, but really, everything was perfect.

Pros: great wiew, big rooms, car parcking, refrigerator in room cons: Wifi sucks, bathroom stink, no hanger for the shower, poor breakfast(no water, no vegetables), when you leave the room for cleaning the stuff stops A/C, 90€/day in high season

This hotel is very well located with excellent views over the beach, surrounding cliffs, bay and across the sea to Ithaca. That is because unlike many of the local hotels, it is not at sea level but a little higher up the hill. There are stairs that bring you down to the beach, which is only 5 minutes away ( but may be hard for the old, very young, or mobility impaired). The room had a fantastic balcony and view, the shower was decent, the bed comfortable. It was simply, but relatively tastefully furnished and, most important, it was very clean. Good air conditioning and a decent fridge also. The hotel restaurant bar area was very nice, with a wonderful outdoor area that had the same amazing views. This area was really quite tasteful in appearance. The pool was small, but good if you have kids or wanted to relax for a few hours. The hotel was family friendly, but it was still nice and calm. I did find the radio playing music in the bar/ restaurant a bit annoying, especially in the morning, but that may be a personal thing. The couple who run the reception area were extremely friendly and helpful, but also pretty laid back and unobtrusive, which is a great combination. I was really happy to have gotten such a great hotel for such good prices. I would highly recommend this hotel as a holiday destination.
