Service and location earns this hotel a 5-star rating. Not overly luxurious, but proximity to everything is ideal and the rooftop lounge offers a breathtaking panorama of the ancient city and the Acropolis. Tasty buffet-style breakfast is included.

Great service and excellent location! Rooms are basic, but what you would expect for 3 star. Breakfast buffet is varied and tasty. Free tea and coffee are always available from the bar (not in your room).
The lift is small and the building is not wheelchair friendly in general.
I would stay again though would prefer a room further from the road next time, because the Greek seem to use their car horns freely at all times of day and night Recommend for location and friendly service.

We paid for a room with a balcony and city view. What we got was a small area outside the room window with two AC pumps going full speed, shaking the room floor!
There is no room of course for a chair or a table in the balcony. (I attached the picture of one of the pumps in the balcony for scale, the other one is on the other side.)
The "city view" is just impressive.

The receptionist did come to the room and observed the situation. His recommendation was that we turn the ac off (but noted the next door also needs to turn their ac off as well for the noise to stop). Of course they could not change our room.
Definitely not recommended.

Love this hotel. Superb location, superb service and it's a hotel which thinks about its guests. I've booked it twice and will return when in Athens.

Staff were friendly, helped us get an idea of where we are after a long flight. A small little claustrophobic elevator took us and our luggage to our room. Room was fairly basic, but of course you don't go to Athens to spend time in the room. Good rooftop bar and view, and breakfast was pretty good.

Friendly and helpful front staff. The location is in the heart of Plaka with so many restaurants and shops steps away. The Acropolis is only a15 minute walk. The rooftop patio offers an unobstructed views of the Acropolis, especially at night. The room was very clean and modern.

Excellent location in the Plaka neighborhood. We headed a different direction each night for dinner and were able to see new parts of the neighborhood. Right near all the major historic sites so they're within walking distance. Roof top area to relax and grab a drink if you like. Friendly helpful staff! Great price point for the rooms; can't knock any points off for that.

Would really give it 3.5 stars if had the choice. Great views of acropolis from half the rooms and roof terrace. Room was tiny with 1 side of the bed against the wall. I was travelling on my own so was fine. I had asked for a view of the acropolis which I got so I was very happy. Fixtures and furniture dated. Holes in the net curtains. But was well cleaned. Just attention to detail needed with a small refurbished and this hotel would be fantastic.
Location was right in the best part of the plaka. Could not be better.
Nice friendly staff.

Very comfortable and service was excellent. The view from the rooftop bar was breath taking and it's location is perfect. Whether you want to go clubbing, enjoy incredible food or go shopping it is all within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean rooms and bath. The service was extremely helpful with every request we had. The location is perfect and has the most stunning and nearest view to the Akropolis. Breakfast was delicious with every thing you might look b for plus Greek specialties.

Location was the highlight of this hotel. It is right in the middle of the tourist hub, but 2 minutes away from party crowd, so you can rest. Rooms do not stand out but were pretty comfortable. Breakfast buffet choices was better than a 4-star hotel in North America. It has good variety, was healthy and fresh. The roof top view of the Acropolis was marvelous. 15 minutes walk to the Acropolis, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, 10-25 minutes walk to all the major central attractions of Athens, 1 minute walk from grocery store, 1 minute walk from ATM, 5 minutes walk from the tour pickup central point of Plaka.
