Great stadium for basketball fans. Worth a visit when Panathinaikos is playing in Euroleague matches. Basic services are provided to spectators though.

Big complex with football stadium (AEK), cycling hal, 3x outside swimming pool, swimming hal, tenis stadium big and small with more than 20 practice tenis courts. Areál is little bit neclected. No sign nor information for public use. If you are foreigner you have to only ask but who ?

Ideal place for jogging, cycling and other physical activities. It includes vast sports facilities, as well as many paths leading to Olympic Stadium or the electric railway station "Eirini".

Love it, I like to run there, but one can walk, play with hes children, teach then bicycle. Also it's a sport center, open swimming pool, basket stadium, music events take place. Great architecture and large parking

Swimming there last 10 years. The public pool is open 25m length and nice depth 3,5m.

Several beautiful buildings and structures. Not sure of the hours but during the day the gates are all open and it's primarily joggers and a few tourists. Note that the Irini metro stop serves the park directly; google maps seemed to prefer anything but this best option. Not sure if I was supposed to go in but the stadium had an open door on the west side and was deserted.

The place is rusty and falling apart. A few private businesses give a bit of life in this deserted place, where the Olympic games ceremony was held in 2004.

Not bad to have a view of mega structure and to walk for a half an hour in quite and healthy surroundings.

The Athletic complex has many beautifully​ built buildings that the architects really did a great job with but I don't think that they have been maintaining these beauties. You can see the rust, and most of the time the complex seems like it's abandoned despite the foot traffic that can be seen here on the weekly basis. The thing this is a nice place to walk and just look over the nice buildings or even get a workout in because the complex is enormous with Futbol stadium, basketball area, swimming pool arena and few more buildings.

I watched the basketball game of panathinaikos bc vs barchelona bc!the greek team won so i was happy!also for my friend nikos pappas who is an awesome player and giannis bourousis!
