This is a small, but important archaeological site, so if you like history, myths and legends, you should visit it. Otherwise, reconsider traveling to this place at summer.
We've traveled for an 45 min. from Parga for an 15 min. walk, without a tour guide and paid 7 euros per person. That is just too much trouble at 32° on my summer vacation.

If you're nearby this is a nice visit but I wouldn't say that it's worth traveling for.

Important archeological site. Takes about half an hour for a short visit. The nice local guides are willing to answer the questions

I only give 4 stars as I believe that the local council should make the promenade to the ruins more attractive to the visitor, other than that the place is worth visiting!

A terrible and overpriced scam. They are not even sure it is what they say it is!

Ancient oracle for the dead. Ticket a little bit on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit.

Interesting place to visit, although true historic purpose of the dwelling is disputed. Wonderful view over the Acheron valley.

This was either the Oracle of dead (third most famous oracle in ancient Greece) or a fortified farmhouse. It is worth a visit either way. We have visited on a day trip from Lefkada. Especially the underground chamber which is thought to be the shrine where the communication with the dead took place. The entrance fee is 8 EUR.

Did people come here to talk with their dead ancestors or was it a farmhouse from the Hellenistic period producing agricultural tools? Either way, it is worth checking out for a day trip (which you can book from Parga). You can descend into the Necromanteion and check out the eerily coolness and quiet, which alone makes the trip worthwhile.
