  Great tour, very accommodating team - both at the office and in route. Guide was a very knowledgeable and intelligent individual, he loves his town and knows it's history in and out. He made the tour feel more like his family guests visiting, and as if he wants to simply share his love and fascination with this amazing place with his guests.
  Super comfortable luxury mini-bus with mean conditioning system and plenty of cold drinking water on a hot day also didn't hurt

  The tour never really took off since George, the travel agent from Meteora Thrones, strung me along for three months. Called him three times from New York and every time false promises were given for preparing and sending the planning for my group.

  Visiting Meteora is a must if you visit Greece! I am so glad I chose to book with Meteora Thrones instead of go on my own. Chris, the tour guide, and George, our driver, were wonderful!
  
  The mini bus was comfortable and had free wifi. The lunch sandwich was ok. Chris was extremely knowledgeable, giving us a good understanding of history and anecdotes frim the area. It was a good balance of time at the monesteries and scenic spots to take photos.
  The only thing that would have made the tour over-the-top would have been a guided tour of the monasteries themselves. (We did the two on our own and met back at the bus.).
  
  All in all a great experience. I highly recommend Meteora Thrones.

  Really well organised tours, which perfectly showcase the outstanding beauty of Meteora. They run the tours either directly from Athens, or when staying in the area yourself. My favourite was the monastery morning tour, closely followed by the sunset tour. Awesome, and incredibly affordable!
