The Holy Monastery of St. Stephen has a small single-nave church built in the middle of 16th century & decorated in 1545 or a little later.

Лучше выезжать пораньше. Что бы успеть все посетить. Лучше начинать с верху(горы) так удобнее. Вход в монастырь 3€. Мы посетили 6 монастырей за 4 часа.

The Holy Trinity Monastery features in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981) as the mountain-top hideout of Kristatos. Only exteriors were used as monks were unhappy about the film's violence.

"Метеоры" - 6 действующих православных монастырей, расположены на вершинах грандиозных скал, находящихся на ровной поверхности Фессалийской равнины. Скалы достигают в высоту 600м. Красота неописуемая!

Meteora, "göklerde duran" anlamına geliyor. Yunanistan'ın Kapadokyası. Ancak Peri bacalarının üzerinde taş yerine Manastır veya Kilise kondurmuşlar.

Extremely high and scenic, both the rocks and monasteries. Enjoy the neighborhood which has good stores with quality olive oil and souvenirs. Also there're a few affordable points to eat. Advice!
