  We caught the boat from San Stefanos - what an adventure - nobody quite sure when the boat was leaving or if it was. In the end we arrived an hour early and glad we did as it was overloaded with people and produce. No need to buy the tourist tickets they sell in the shops, just show up, but not too late. The crossing is interesting with boat fumes and not made fro comfort but the island is sweet. Make sure you now when the boat is coming back - ignore the timetable - the captain will decide based on the weather. Worth staying a night to explore a little. Not much there of course but lovely to see island life.
