The Tempi valley is beautiful and one of my favourite places to visit. Now that the motorway has been built - the drive to the valley is much more relaxing as the larger trucks and the people in a hurry stay on the motorway and you don't have to worry about coming head on with an impatient Greek on the wrong side of the road coming round the bend. Lots of shade and also all that fresh water coming from the mineral springs even on a very hot day to keep you cool. Well worth the stop.

Though the main road does not connect to Tempi anymore, it still remains a beautiful place to visit and experience the sights it offers.

Crkva Svete Petke, Kanjon Tempi nalazi se izmedju planina Olimp i Ossa (Kissavos), pored obale rijeke Pinios.Mjesto je prepuno bujnog zelenila i hladovine.

Οι Θεοί ζωγραφίζουν με τη φύση και οι άνθρωποι πετούν τα σκουπίδια τους. Έλεος λίγο με το σκουπιδαριό! Τόση ποσότητα σκουπιδιών θυμίζει ξεκίνημα χωματερής. Από λάστιχα αυτοκινήτων μέχρι χιλιάδες μπουκάλια, πλαστικά και συσκευασίες. Ίσως κάποιοι από τους χιλιάδες αστυνομικούς που φιλούν διάφορες αμφιλεγόμενες περσόνες θα έπρεπε να μετατεθούν σε αυτό το αριστούργημα της φύσης.
