  Nedaleko od sela Kalarites blizu grada Ioanina, na severu planine Tzoumerka (Cumerka), se nalazi zanimljiv manastir Kipina, posvećen uspenju Bogorodice. Ovaj manastir od drveta i kamena je izgrađen je 1212 godine i ponosno stoji na litici planine Cumerka. Njegovo ime Kipina verovatno potiče od vrtova koji su se nalazili ispod manastira u kojem je gajeno povrće od strane monaha.
