Perfect place for family vacations

Whole area is very clean, however staff seems to be lazy-never smiling like as if it was a punishment to work in the there. There's enormous number of mosquitoes which is extremely annoying, painful and kind of uncomfortable. I've seen few cleaning guys every morning on a beach but there was still thrash (plastic cups, butts, etc) in the sand. On the other hand, food was delicious, there was variety of meals and dishes, room service was really precise. Rooms are fairly spacious , everyone equipped with balcony or terrace. Three pools with salted water are great. There's couple of water slides by one of the pools that kids love. Hotel is definitely family-friendly.

Actually it was a great time in Kalogria Beach Hotel.
The staff were friendly.
Perfect location, service and food.
The variety of food gives the guests the options to choose their favorite dishes.

Do't know about the hotel itself, all i have to say is that Kalogria beach is a great place to spend your Sunday.

Πάρα πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο, ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα,πλούσιο φαγητό,φιλόξενοι και εξυπηρετικοι άνθρωποι,η πισίνα πάρα πολύ καθαρή,όπως επίσης και ο εξωτερικός χώρος πάρα πολύ περιποιημένος.Το συνιστω ανεπιφύλακτα. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστούμε πολύ.

The hotel has gone through renovationwe lived in Boutique - brand new rooms, clean bathrooms. It wasn't very spacious, but we were always on the beach or at the bars so we disn't need anything more according to accomodation. The Boutique has its own pool and bar, I felt very comfortable there, but Boutique is the further part of hotel from the beach. If you want to be as close to the beach as possible, you should live in bungalows. I think that other visitors were saying, that the main hotel hasn't got Christina (brand new) rooms.
The staff is really very nice and kind. The mosquitos is a problem only after a dinner and through the evening. But when you have a good repellent they shouldn't bite you. I recommend the repellent from the small shop outside the hotel area.
Food was really delicious. Barbecue, salads, spaghettis, fruit, puddings and always new main foods. Everybody was satisfied with the restaurant. The best of restaurant is that when you come 5 minutes before "closing" you can always be sure, that you will have everything what was there 2 hours ago. It doesn't matter, if you wake up at 7 or 10 o'clock, you have always each meal to choosemaybe the best food of all my vacations, and I've stayed in many 5* hotels.
One day we borrowed the bicycles (but in hotel Verde al Mare, the bicycles in Kalogria BH are in not that good condition, and if you borrow bike in Verde, you have it for 24hours) and we biked to Lapas, small town where is nothing except supermarket and staring villagers, and we were told, that there is not that safe.
The beach is small but we always had our sunshades and campbeds - it was enough for hotel visitors and we liked it. Except of sunday, when lot of greeks came and were taking campbeds, becouse no beach in Greece is allowed to be private.
3 pools, 3 bars, 1 fantastic restaurant, animation programms, sun, kind people that don't stare at you when you walk along unkept and shaggyand wonderful beach.due to this everything we had a fantastic holidays and I would go back there anytimes.response / report this review -

Restauracia a plaz boli uplne perfektne. Domaca obsluha za barom uplna uplna katastrofa, uplne nas ignorovala, dostat drink bolo niekedy naozaj na dlho. Vsetko vylepsovali pomocne sily z cestovnej kancelarie (Hydrotour). Boli sme s malymi detmi a pre ne tam animatori vymyslali program, co ocenili deti aj my. Samotne ubytovanie bolo v starsich objektoch. Na izbe bola klimatizacia aj chladnicka, ale utulne to moc nevyzeralo. V kazdom pripade na izbu sme chodili iba prespat a tento nedostatok bol silno kompenzovany ostatnymi pozitivami.
